my salon is in a military town and literally 95% of the men that buy shampoo in our shop buy Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo and SWEAR by it. my husband won't touch anything else. it is mentholated, has peppermint in it, and tea tree is a natural antiseptic from australia. it is good for drying out the scalp without making it overdry. it helps with dandruff too. really an awesome product. i think the small bottles are around 10 oz and average about $8 to $10 a bottle here in NC, and keep in mind that professional shampoos are concentrated, so you use small amounts as compared to brands like suave. so, use like a dime or nickel sized amount, so it lasts a while. hope this helps!!What is the best shampoo for men with thick, greasy hair?
Jayde A, overwashing hair can make it dry out which in turn will just cause an overproduction of oils, making the hair more oily. You really shoudn't wash hair that often.

As long as you use plenty of shampoo, it doesnt matter which brand. You should wash it 2-3times daily though to get the grease out
best bet is a gallon of petrol
Dawn dish washing soap. Cuts the oil and really works good.
