I think I'm most conscious about how much my hair sticks out at the sides more than anything else, I usually slap loads of gel on to stick it down on each side then spike it up at the top. They are pretty expensive, but I think you get your money's worth. Also, perhaps you could use a shampoo which relaxes curls, just to give your hair a head start!

I'm saving up for a Japanese permanent hair straightening, Maybe you should too it's permanent and it won't ruin your hair like heating appliances I already ruined mine now if I don't use the Maxiglide I look like a chia pet !

My boyfriend has been struggling for years about what to do with his hair. It's extremely thick and curly, but so thick that the curls never show up, he just looks...fuzzy. His usual solution is to just buzz it all to 1/2 an inch, but then he looks about 14 (if he shaves off his beard too, instead of the 21 that he is.

There is a Rogaine for Women, but first talk to your hairstylist about your concerns. Since you're *not* loosing hair, then probably good volumizing products along w/ the right volumizing hairstyle should fill your needs.
This is what I did until I got older (50's), and had health issues which caused hair loss on the crown area of my head. My stylist recommended NIOXIN due to my heart problems, and I love what it has done to my hair:)

It depends what kind of hair you have, if it's straight - then you can probably just let it go - brushing it might look 'too too styled'. you can use any hair color they are all the same....you do not have to use just for men. What would be the best thing to get for men to make your hair thicker?
I'm not bald by any means but I'm not nearly as thick as I once was. I have a area on the back of my head that is not bald but the way my hair parts in the back, you can see a nice patch of my scalp and so I've come to the conclusion that it's most likely thinning. Any one know of anything that is good other than Rogaine. Nothing that gives it a temporary appearance of thickness but really helps.

Before resorting to an all over razor cut, you need to explore what is causing you problems with your hair. I suggest making a list. List the things you like about your hair, list what you don't like. Then you should find some hairstyles for men that are similar to your hair's amount of wave and texture. But you can buy GHD products which you spray on your hair while straightening which really reduces it.

I'm saving up for a Japanese permanent hair straightening, Maybe you should too it's permanent and it won't ruin your hair like heating appliances I already ruined mine now if I don't use the Maxiglide I look like a chia pet !

About the damagin. All straightens will damage your hair in one way or another, there drying it out.
But you can buy GHD products which you spray on your hair while straightening which really reduces it.
I use GHD's daily and my hair is just as healthy as anyone else's.

Hey the best ones are GHD's and they come in guy versions! but if you hair is as thick as you say then i would just go for the lady ones probably hotter and work better lol.
I use my GHD's everyday and they dont do any damage as long as you use a heat defence spray that you can buy in boots chemist. Treseme is the best!

I use Maxiglide and at first your hair will look WOW great Awesome but with alot of use your hair will get frizzy, broken ends and worst. I'm saving up for a Japanese permanent hair straightening, Maybe you should too it's permanent and it won't ruin your hair like heating appliances I already ruined mine now if I don't use the Maxiglide I look like a chia pet !

the thickness of your hair doesn't matter. you need to do small sections anyway. i found babyliss straighteners to not do such a great job. i have a GHD and it's amazing. i have curly hair too and it straightens first shot.
Hey, i use GHD's and so do a lot of my male friends. You can buy special thinner irons for men. They are quite expensive (well alot more than babyliss) but they are definitely worth the money.
If you really really really have to straighten your hair then Babyliss has good straighteners.
But just so you know tons and tons of women love guys with naturally thick, curly hair so if I were you I wouldn't. :P
